Whether in the home or out in the world, lifestyle sessions are all about kicking back and letting the good times roll. These are those documentary-style, candid shots that so many of us love. Expect to hang out for an hour or two while I photograph you and your favorite people (and pets!) in a relaxed, minimally guided photography experience focused on authentic moments and genuine connections rather than formal poses.

Do you or a special person in your life have a milestone birthday coming up? Are you exhibiting your work in a gallery and want to capture the opening or closing reception? Is your small business hosting a pop-up event or market? These are just a couple of ideas to get you started, but I'm open to documenting whatever you're cooking up. Oh, the places you'll go! Graduation is here, and it's your moment to shine. Let me help capture your vibe. I love the outfit changes, the unique locations, or maybe you're most comfortable in your bedroom, where we can get a peek into your life. These sessions start at one hour and are fully customizable based on how much you're looking to invest to capture this milestone moment. All Seniors receive a digital album of approximately 30 hi-res JPG images (or more, depending on the length of the session).

If you’ve got a big adventure on the books and want to live in the moment rather than viewing it through a screen, let's chat. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a month-long trek, I’ll join your journey as your personal documentarian—capturing every epic landscape, hidden gem, and genuine laugh along the way.
Because every adventure is unique, this experience is fully customizable. To get things moving, I require a non-refundable deposit that covers my travel and accommodations. Let’s turn your travel story into a gallery of memories. An option to have a printed fine-art photo album of your trip is also available.

ARE YOU OPEN TO TRAVEL?
Yes! My passport and vaccines are current, and I am ready to travel anywhere in the world to capture your family or friends on an adventure or once-in-a-lifetime milestone trip. I would love to work with you to create a custom quote based on your vision and location. An option to have a personalized fine-art photo album created alongside your digital files is also available.
HOW DO I RESERVE A PHOTO SESSION?
Once we've settled on a plan, please send a deposit to reserve the package or date(s), especially if they involve travel. Travel deposits are non-refundable. The prices vary by package but are typically 1/4 of the total session cost. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. Payment can be made in cash or via the Venmo app. My Venmo handle is @Hilary-Northcraft. Credit card payments are accepted and subject to a transaction fee. Sales tax is applicable to WA state residents.
Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
Yes, the packages listed above are just a starting point. I am open to adjusting or creating a customized-from-scratch photoshoot.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Turnaround time varies, but it typically takes 3-4 weeks for images to be delivered. If you need photos earlier, please let me know so I can plan ahead. An extra fee may be required for rush needs. Clients will receive hi-res downloadable JPG files via an online gallery. I am happy to recommend photo labs for printing, or you can print the images at a location of your choosing.
WHAT IF WE GET SICK OR NEED TO CANCEL?
I have a kid of my own and am living in this complicated world right alongside you - life happens, I get it. Besides, photoshoots are especially not fun if people are feeling unwell. Your session can be rescheduled once without an additional non-refundable retainer. If you have to reschedule for a second time, the non-refundable retainer and original deposit will be applied toward the full cost of the session.
DO YOU HELP WITH FIGURING OUT THE TIME OF DAY AND THE LOCATION FOR THE SESSION?
Yes! If there are children or babies in the photos, I will want to schedule sessions for a time when everyone is in their best spirits, or during a favorite family activity, such as making dinner, storytime, or playing a game. For outdoor sessions, we'll want to aim for when the light is just right, preferably in the morning or early evening before sunset. If we're in Washington, rain can happen, and I'm always open to shifting indoors, likely at your home or a favorite local haunt, if you don't want to reschedule the session. Most importantly, I want your photos to be taken somewhere that is meaningful to you — your home, your neighborhood, or a favorite spot in the greater Seattle area. I am also happy to make suggestions.
